Having chosen Der Achtermann for a corporate retreat, I must say the experience was mixed. The location is indeed strategic, close to the city center with easy access to a multi-story car park. The conference center, with its selection of 13 meeting rooms ranging from 20m^2 to 600m^2, is impressive and well-equipped for business gatherings.My stay involved using the Wi-Fi extensively for remote work. The connection was reliable, enabling seamless communication with my team. The 24-hour reception was convenient for any late-night work emergencies, providing a sense of security and flexibility. However, the lack of air conditioning in the room made it challenging to focus during the hot summer days.On a positive note, the amenities were diverse, offering a variety of relaxation options after a day of meetings. The indoor swimming pool and spa facilities were a welcome retreat, allowing for some much-needed downtime. The restaurant provided a decent selection for in-room breakfasts, catering to different preferences.Der Achtermann in Goslar is a decent choice for business travelers seeking a functional stay with adequate amenities.
